- Editing, conform and finishing with flame, smoke and flare, vfx for high-end commercial compositing, previz and animatics, shoot supervision and pre-production consulting, final client approval, revision and task management in all aspects of the vfx pipeline.

Specializing in high-end creative post and design for advertising, branding, features and multimedia immersive experiences, I joined Fly in 2009 at the beginning of its expansion to high-end vfx compositing on Autodesk platforms and assisted the technical, creative and workflow team on top of my duties as senior flame compositor. Breaking with the traditional advertising workflow to offer a more guerilla-style logistics ability catered to clients demanding high-end vfx needs while keeping overhead low were among the many duties accomplished at Fly. Clients ranged from major US and canadian agencies and brands to international advertising and design clients as well as long format film & television.

Thomson Technicolor, Montréal QC

Smoke-flame artist, editor and compositor, advertising, design & FEATURE FILM

september 2006 – april 2009

- Editing, conform and finishing with smoke/flame, vfx for feature films and high-end commercial compositing, previz and animatics, art direction, shoot supervision and pre-production consulting, final client approval, revision and task management in all aspects of the post pipeline. VFX deconstruction and showreel editing. Use of Avid, FCP, Photoshop and AfterFX.

Being an integral part of the team that opened the commercial division at 4WS, it was a blast to startup a successful high-end design, vfx and post unit for the national/international advertising market. Our design expertise also offered a consolidated approach to feature film opening design and marketing. In our first year, we could barely supply the shifting demand for our unique style. A strong belief that post is an integral part of every concept sparked our creative team to offer a boutique environement where the classic hourly-fee gives way to a more immersive process for agencies and production houses.
